The Supra: Georgia's Sacred Feast

In Georgia, a meal is never just a meal. The supra — literally "tablecloth" — is a ritual of abundance, where tables groan under platters of khachapuri, grilled meats, fresh herbs, and clay jugs of wine. To sit at a Georgian table is to be treated like family.

Every supra is guided by the tamada, the toastmaster. With wit and feeling, the tamada raises toasts — to peace, to ancestors, to friendship, to those who are gone — and the whole table drinks together. A great toast can bring a room to laughter or to tears.

This is the spirit we bring to Orlando: come hungry, come curious, and leave having been welcomed like an old friend.
